New Organizer

I've been on an organization kick this past few weeks (I categorized and alphabetized our DVD drawer, and alphabetized my book shelves recently.)  My brother cleaned out part of his room yesterday, and he pulled a white, plastic organizer out of his bedroom. I immediately stole it. It had some sharpie and pencil on it, but I cleaned it up with a Magic Eraser. Then I went at it with a black Sharpie, drawing swirly patterns on the front of the little drawers. So here are some pictures!
This is it! It took me about five minutes to clean the organizer, and it took me about ten minutes to draw all the swirly patterns.

I have little buckets on top of the organizer to hold all my brushes. The one on the left has all my face brushes, and the one on the right has all my eye brushes. I need to get something to put in the bottom of the buckets to keep all the brushes from falling over. Behind that I have a tiny brush compact thingy. And then the other two buckets just hold hair stuff.
The top drawer holds all my lips stuff. (The black wallet thing has lip glosses in it).
The next drawer holds *most* of my eye stuff. It has my eyeliner, primer, mascara, eyeliner sharpener, tweezers,  and my tiny eyeshadow pallets. The big ones are still in my top dresser drawer.
The third drawer has my face stuff. It holds concealer, foundation, blush, powder, bronzer, and oil blotting sheets. I put the items I use most often in the front of the drawer. The cheaper, ELF tinted moisturizer is in the back.
The bottom drawer is random hair stuff, face cleansing wipes, and deodorant. I also put some medicine in it after I took the picture.
So that's my recent makeup organization! It makes my dresser much cleaner.

Hair Highlights

I know I haven't been on here in a while, but I haven't had a lot going on.
But about a week ago I got my hair highlighted! Finally!
Well, my hair is naturally blonde, but it's been turning brown. I had my hair dyed red with Kool-Aid before that, so the lady who did it put a base color of light brown on the layers of my hair that she didn't bleach. Now my hair is part light brown and part bleach blonde. My hair used to be this light naturally, but it had been getting darker.
And the hair in the under sections look a little darker in the picture than they are.
Well I really like the new color. Getting it done took longer than I expected but it was fun!
Byee!!!

Letting off Steam

I am really frustrated, and I need to let off some steam.
I have this guy friend. We were texting (apparently 'texting' isn't a real word) all yesterday. We just talked about random stuff; movies, whatever we were doing, etc. Then his friend had his phone and was texting me. His friend kept asking me if I would ever go out with my friend. I said no and that I just didn't want to go out with anyone.
Well, apparently I wasn't clear enough. Last night at about nine, he texted me asking if I didn't want to go out with anyone or just him. I was frustrated at this point. He had called me multiple times, texted me all day, and I was annoyed at this point. I had explained how I felt, and I didn't want to go into a ton of detail with him exactly why I didn't want a boyfriend. I told him that I didn't want to be attached to anyone like that and I just wanted to be alone. That wasn't enough for him either. He again asked why. This annoyed me even more. I was tired of him asking me questions. I just don't want a boyfriend, and his endless questions aren't going to make me want him as a boyfriend either.
So, by the time I went to bed, I was crying and frustrated. He would not stop. I'm not even allowed to date, and I really just DON'T WANT A BOYFRIEND. Why is that so hard to believe?
Well, that's the end of my rant. I needed to blow off some of that steam.

Brushes Review

(The numbers just go from left to right. The far left one is number one. The far right one is number ten. And y'all can figure out the rest.)
This is a picture of all the brushes I got. I put all of them back into the plastic thing just for y'all. I know I didn't put them in the thing exactly right, but I did the best I could. The picture is not the best, sorry.
I managed to use all of them doing my makeup this morning. It was difficult. So I am gonna do a Review for each one of them.
(I just realized I put these brushes in a bad order. They aren't in the order I used them, so I am going to skip around with the numbers)
Brush 5 is the first brush I used. It is technically the Eye Liner Brush, but that's not what I like using it as. I used it as a Concealer brush (which they actually gave me. It is number 6). Brush 5 is bigger than brush 6, so I feel like it works better for concealer.
Brush 2 is the Foundation Brush. I actually already had one of these, and I love it. It feels so good on your face and works great. I've had mine for a long time now, and it still works great. (I am still using the old one. I am saving the new one for when the old one stops working.)
Brush 6, as said above is technically the Concealer brush. It is small, so it feels weird using it under my eyes to spread concealer. I am now using it as an Eye Liner Brush. I have really long eyeliner, and getting liquid eye liner on around my eyelashes is difficult. But it is so easy using this tiny brush. I love it!
Brush 1 is the Total Face Brush. I used it to put on pressed powder. The bristles feel so good on your face. It works really well. (I don't usually use pressed powder.)
Brush 10 is the Blush Brush. I don't ever use blush, even though my mom always tells me to. I didn't have any blush. My mom got me makeup for my birthday, and she got me blush. So I used it today. The brush is angled, and made of the same bristles as Brush 1.
Brush 7 is the Eye Shadow Brush. It is rounded at the top, and the bristles are very, very soft. It worked awesome.
Brush 8 is the Smudge Eye Sponge. I used it to smudge my eyeliner into the dark eye shadow right next to the eyeliner. It worked well, but I don't think I'm going to use it everyday. I don't smudge stuff that much.
Brush 3 is a Brown Comb and Brush. I used it to fix my eyebrows. I'll probably won't use it everyday, because I don't do that to my eyebrows all the time, but it works really well.
Brush 4 is one of my favorites. It is an Eyelash and Brown Wand. I have wanted one of these for a long time. I don't like using mascara everyday because I don't like how it makes my lashes feel. With this wand, I can separate my eyelashes without having a bunch of mascara goop on my lashes. I love it.
Brush 9 is a Lip Defining Brush. I definitely won't use this everyday because I usually only wear chap stick, but it works very well.
So, overall, I am very pleased with the kit. I only paid ten dollars for it! It is a steal.

My Organized Makeup

Here are the pictures! I am so proud of myself!

(Ignore the back stuff. It's just extra junk.)
This is all my makeup. I somehow got everything to fit. This is just a pictures of everything together.

These are all my brushes.  The pale, tan-ish thing is the pack of five brushes. The rest of the brushes are all Elf brushes. I LOVE them! Elf is great!

This is all of my face and eye stuff (other than the eyeshadow. I just barely squeezed everything in here. The drawer is luckily deep enough that the two liquid eyeliners can sit straight up. I had to lay my foundation down to make it fit.
This is all of my lip stuff. Most of it is Elf, but I have two 'real people' lipsticks. They are both pretty pinks. I have the Hypershine glosses in about every color.

These are my eyeshadow pallets. I love them so much! The 144 piece eyeshadow pallet is my baby. It has so many different colors. Some are sparkly and some are matte. The white pallet on top of the black pallet and the 144 pallet is my brand new pallet. I just got it today, along with the brushes. It has 32. It is the cool version of the pallet. There is a warm version too.

I haven't blogged in a while, but I've been really busy. Today I went to the store and got some more makeup! That meant reorganizing all of my makeup to make room. I have one drawer for my makeup, and I leave all my pallets on top of my dresser. I have small, white, plastic divider thingies in the drawer to separate everything. I decided to count exactly how much makeup I had. I was very shocked at the final number. So here is the breakdown: (This will be a long post. Sorry. You can just scroll to the bottom if you want for the final total)
Brushes: 18 (I bought a pack of Elf brushes today)

-1 NYC Lipstick
-1 Elf All Over Colorstick

Eyes:
   Liner: 8
   -1 Elf Liner/ Shadow Stick
   -1 Elf Liner Pen
   -1 Palladio Pencil Eyeliner
   -3 Elf Pencil Eyeliner

   Other: 5
   -1 Elf Tweezers
   -1 Elf Eyelid Primer

That gives us a grand total of 58 if you count a pallet as one piece, or 246 if you count each individual eyeshadow. I was very shocked. This is such a long post, sorry. I'll put pics of my newly organized makeup drawer in another post. Pics would make this too long.
Later guys!

Spring Break

It's finally Spring Break! A week off of school! I have been sleeping a lot more than usual (I get up at six almost every morning, either due to school or habit). I'm up in Tennessee for the week at my grandparents house. A few minutes after we (my brother, my mom and me) got here, my grandparents had be playing clarinet and then on the keyboard we brought with us (I still can't believe we brought it with us).
Then after my aunt and cousins arrived, I had to perform the dances for Hard Knock Life, the HKL reprise, and Never Fully Dress without a Smile (my school is putting on Annie Jr. and I'm an orphan). It took us forever to find the right music on Youtube. I had to use a Swiffer Sweeper as a broom. That didn't work well.
My grandma had a surprise for me. Their preacher's wife (and the preacher) are very musically talented. She is going to come over this week to work on whatever kinda music stuff I want to work on, which will probably just be piano stuff. Hopefully I will be able to play with both hands at the same time. I can kinda play with both hands, but the left hand has to be really simple. ;p
